BONUS *flashbackphoto*

Here's a snapshot from January 31 2011.

(hint hint, he's the only bald one)

Hard to believe it's been a whole year since the LT took an oath, boarded a plane, excelled in BCT, OCS and even HHC to become the awesome soldier he is today!

We have come a long way in a year.

Spending 6 of those 12 months apart and then picking up our whole life and moving across the country certainly has taught us a lot about ourselves and what we are capable of.

I am so thankful for this journey and so grateful to be on it with this amazing family of mine!

31 Oh My

Tonight the girlies were wild.

But in that good, giggles and sillies and getting along happily wild kind of way.

I made Bean a tutu to wear on Valentine's Day today.

(I know, I'm so on top of the game!)

The girls had a blast dancing around the house, and then later using the tuto as a beard, or a hat, or eventually, throwing it on me.

30 Back to Atlanta

The DQ visited the Dr. today. He wanted to check the "progress" of the curve in her back. She got another x-ray. It was in some new-fangled low radiation machine.

Oh, and the curve is getting worse.

We schedule surgery this week for April hopefully.

29 Great Day

Today was wonderful.

Why?

We got to go to church in the same car because it was stake conference.

The girls played LEGOs and school and church.

The LT and I relaxed and watched a few episodes of The West Wing.

I made a meatloaf.

We played Trivial Pursuit: Family Edition.

Sugar cookies.

I love Sundays.

28 Atlanta

Today we hit the road and spent the day in Atlanta.

It was fun just walking around and checking out the sights.

Highlights included lunch at Chipotle and dinner at CPK.

We loved Atlantic Station, especially miss Bean because they still have their Christmas lights up.

27 Sleepy Bean

I awoke to a shadow staring at me in the wee hours of the morning. Once my heart calmed down and the grog wore off, I realized is was Miss Bean.

"I had a bad dream."

So she crawled into bed with us. It took her a while to fall asleep, but I was still amazed to see that she was still asleep at 8. I decided to let her sleep in and just take her to school late.

How could you wake this sweet thing!??

26 Errands

The LT was off (sorta) today since the General he is escorting was in meetings. So what did we do with the time together?

Got the oil changed in our cars.

We're so exciting.

(I think I need to dust the inside of my car)
