287 Dog Park

Today the weather is PERFECTION. Seriously.
I feel badly for anyone not living here today.
(but only today...)
We took advantage of the day and walked to the park. We brought Lola along and she was really more interested in sniffing little kids. We've never taken advantage of the dog parks on post, and there weren't any dogs in the little dog park, so we let her loose. I swear the running wore her out in about 5 minutes, and she was ready to go home.
The rest of us certainly enjoyed it though!

164 Lola Love

Lola has certainly enjoyed all of the added attention from Grandma.
She is such a weird looking dog though!

16 Build-a-Dog

Our dog Lola will be 8 this spring. She is healthy, and has plenty of years left, but having a dog with this new military lifestyle is not always ideal. We've decided that once she goes, we will not get another dog.
We do talk about having her stuffed because it could be hilarious.
The discussion came up again tonight and Princess Bean caught on to what we were saying. She piped in, (in all seriousness)
"We could take her to Build-a-Bear!
We could stuff her with their machine!"
I just about fell out of my chair laughing.
Maybe if we do have her stuffed, we can put her in this pose.
